Northeast Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (NELSAMP)
The Northeast Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation program is designed to increase underrepresented minority student enrollment and graduation rates in STEM by offering effective, individualized recruitment and retention services. NELSAMP provides pre-college and postsecondary academic preparation, mentoring engagement experiences, research opportunities, and career and graduate school preparation programming to ensure students maximize their potential for success in their STEM field of study. Partner institutions across three states: Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, participate in Alliance-wide programs and offer project activities unique to each member campus.
Urban Massachusetts Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (UMLSAMP)
The Urban Massachusetts Alliance for Minority Participation (UMLSAMP) is comprised of the University of Massachusetts Boston, UMass Dartmouth, UMass Lowell, and Wentworth Institute of Technology and their community college colleagues Bunker Hill, Roxbury, Bristol, and Middlesex Led by UMass Boston.
